Q. When do I register for my USA Wrestling Card?
A. Go to the Links page and see USA Wrestling Athlete Registration. All Registration is Online and a copy of the card must be on file with the Club prior to or at first attended practice participation. This feature is available as of 1 Oct 2008 for the coming season.
Q. What is included with our Club Membership?
A. Membership includes a Club T-Shirt, Membership and Usage of the High School Wrestling Room for Scheduled Practices.
Q. Why Do I Need a USA Wrestling Card?
A. Your USA Wrestling Card provides a supplemental insurance policy in case of injury in the Practice room or at a Tournament. Also it is required during registration at a tournament.
Q. What Wrestling Gear will my Son/Daughter need?
A. Headgear, a reversible Red/Blue wrestling singlet, or one red and one blue singlet and Wrestling shoes.
Q. Where Can I purchase Wrestling Gear?
A. If you go to the Links page of this site I have included numerous on line stores where items can be purchased. Items can also be purchased at local sporting goods stores in Boise.
Q. Do I need to stay with my wrestler during practice sessions?
A. Yes, If you child is age 5 thru age 11 you must stay. It is recommended at age 12 and older.
Q. When are Practices?
A. Practices vary during week days based on availability of the High School Gym and the Wrestling Room.
Q. Are we required to be at all scheduled practices?
A. No, however it is highly recommended to be at as may as possible.
Q. When are Tournaments?
A. Each Friday and Saturday starting the first weekend of March.
Q. Is Tournament participation required?
A. No, however we highly recommend that our athletes participate when they feel confident with their skills. We want to make this a pleasurable experience. So it is entirely your decision.
